Objective Study on the clinical effect and value of levolfoxacin in the treatment of elderly community-acquired pneumonia. Method 50 cases of senile patients with community acquired pneumonia from the department of respiration in our hospital were selected randomly and were divided into A, B two groups randomly. A group was given targeted therapy of conventional medicine. Patients in group B were given the basis routine treatment combined with levolfoxacin. The symptom improvement time after treatment of different drug of two groups were compared. Result After the treatment, the total efifciency of levolfoxacin group 96%was signiifcantly higher than that of the conventional treatment group 80%(P<0.05). Symptoms time of levolfoxacin group significantly less than the conventional treatment group (P<0.05). Conclusion Clinical application of levofloxacin in the treatment of elderly community-acquired pneumonia signiifcantly and improve the quality of life.%目的：讨论研究应用左氧氟沙星治疗老年社区获得性肺炎的临床疗效与价值。方法随机选取我院呼吸科老年社区获得性肺炎患者50例。随机分为A、B两组。A组患者使用常规药物进行针对性治疗。B组患者在常规治疗基础上联合左氧氟沙星治疗。比较两组患者使用不同药物治疗后症状改善时间以及治疗总有效率等各项指标间差异。结果治疗后总有效率比较显示应用左氧氟沙星组总有效率96.0%显著高于常规治疗组80.0%（P＜0.05）；左氧氟沙星组患者症状缓解时间显著少于常规治疗组患者（P＜0.05）。结论临床应用左氧氟沙星治疗老年社区获得性肺炎疗效显著，对改善患者生活质量具有重要意义。
