Objective To investigate the methods of cosmetic incision for treatment of pediatric inguinal hernia in the outpatient de-partment. Methods Retrospectively analyzed the clinic data of 7173 pediatric patients with inguinal hernia from June 2010 to June 2014 re-ceived by our hospital. The transverse incisions in the 7173 cases were used by surface projection of the outer ring. Results The surgery of all patients accomplished smoothly. The operation time was 4 to 15 minutes. The length of incision was 0. 6 to 1. 2 centimeters. The incision was glued together by fibrin glue and did not have to be stitched closed. After 4 hours of oxygen,all the patients can be discharged without discom-fort. In the 3 - month to 3 - years follow - up,there were 32 cases of scrotal edema,12 cases of scrotal hematoma,6 cases of incision infection and 15 cases of pulmonary infection,all the cases were cured by conservative treatment. There were 8 cases of postoperative recurrence and they were cured after reoperation. Conclusion Cosmetic incision treatment of pediatric inguinal hernia has the advantages of shorter operative time, small trauma and faster postoperative recovery and embodies the concepts of minimally invasive treatment. It can be carried out in the outpatient department and worthwhile for spreading in clinical practice.%目的：探讨门诊美容小切口治疗儿童腹股沟疝的方法。方法回顾分析2010-07-2014-07间收治的7173例儿童腹股沟疝患者的临床资料，采用下腹部外环口体表投影腹横纹处横切口，行疝囊高位结扎术。结果手术均顺利完成，手术时间4~15 min，切口0.6~1.2 cm，皮肤运用生物蛋白胶粘合。术后4 h 患儿完全清醒，进食无不适即可出院。术后并发阴囊水肿32例，阴囊血肿12例，切口感染6例，肺部感染15例，经保守治疗痊愈。随访3个月~3 a，复发8例，再次手术后痊愈。结论美容小切口治疗儿童腹股沟疝，具有手术时间短、创伤小、恢复快等优点，可在门诊手术，体现了微创理念，值得临床推广。
