This paper makes an analysis on the "cultural shock"suffered by Asian Americans from the perspective of intercul-tural communication.Some tactics can be adopted to solve this problem,which is the result of both psychological and social strain.The significance of this study lies in acquainting us with the better understanding of cultural difference and providing a reference for us to deal with cultural shock.%文化休克是文化心理学的一个概念，指一个人初次进入不同母语文化而失去了熟悉的社会交往信号或符号，对陌生社会符号产生的深度焦虑症。文章在跨文化视角下概述了亚裔美国人的文化休克现状，分析了其社会文化及心理动因，论证了其表征并提出了应对策略，对克服文化休克问题起到了借鉴作用。
