The size of positioning error is the important basis of judging whether the positioning plan can ensure machining accuracy and reasonably choosing positioning plan or not. It is also the main specification of inspecting fixture accuracy. Analyzing and calculating on positioning error is an important step for fixture designing. The key to the calculating process is how to make misalignment error with reference point and displacement error with reference point into the positioning error.
