Objective:To explore the application effect of quality control circle activity in lowering primiparas’lateral episiotomy rate. Methods:Selected 3147 primiparas before the conduction of quality control circle activities(January 2013 - December 2013)as control group,and selected 3569 primiparas after the conduction of quality control circle activities(March 2014 - March 2015)as observation group. Observed the lateral episiotomy rate of primiparas in the two groups. Results:The lateral episiotomy rate of the observation group was 32. 28% ,which was lower than the 57. 64% of the control group,and the comparison between the two groups was of statistical significance(P < 0. 05). Conclusion:Quality control circle activity can effectively reduce premipa-ras’lateral episiotomy rate.%目的：探讨品管圈活动在降低初产妇会阴侧切率中的应用效果。方法：将开展品管圈活动前（2013年1~12月）选取的3147例初产妇作为对照组，将开展品管圈活动后（2014年3月~2015年3月）选取的3569例初产妇作为观察组。观察两组产妇会阴侧切率。结果：观察组会阴侧切率为32.28％，低于对照组的57.64％，两组比较有统计学意义（P ＜0.05）。结论：品管圈活动能有效降低初产妇会阴侧切率。
