To strengthen and improve ideological and political education for minority college students, the integrity of Marxism should be taken as the theoretical basis, and humanist principles should be combined with"loving, strict, atten-tive", the political theory education with social practice, ideological guidance with serving students, and respecting their customs with clearing faith. It mainly contains basic principles of Marxism, the Communist Party′s ethnic and religious pol-icies, patriotism and national unity, legal and moral values. A new mechanism of ideological and political education will be established, in which all-round staff education should be supplemented with special responsibility, whole process of educa-tion with focusing on key links, full-scaled education with significant parts.%加强和改进少数民族大学生思想政治教育，要以整体性马克思主义为理论基础，坚持以人为本与“爱、严、细”相结合、政治理论教育与社会实践相结合、思想引导与服务学生相结合、尊重风俗与明确信仰相结合的基本原则，以马克思主义基本理论、党的民族政策和宗教政策、爱国主义和民族团结、法制观和道德观等为主要内容，建立全员育人、全过程育人、全方位育人与专人负责、重点环节、重要节点相结合的思想政治教育新机制。
