Open access journals are a growing electronic resource. Integrating these titles into our electronic resource universe can be complicated and cumbersome, and it can create copyright conundrums. "The Open Access environment has created a number of entirely new copyright models," states Hoorn and Graaf (2006, para. 2). Because the integration of open access materials in libraries is happening slowly and deliberately, however, these evolving copyright paradigms and other issues are emerging indiscriminately (Tomlin, 2009).
