One seemingly simple e-resource-related task that can mutate into a colossal undertaking is defining just what to include on a library's listing of electronic resources. Not that long ago, we called it a database list. Times have sure changed! With the variety of e-resources available today, there isn't always a clear-cut answer, as a murkiness has seemingly arisen about what should be on such a listing. Is a listing of e-resources still meaningful today? Even with a discovery tool that combines all of the library's resources into one result list, librarys generally maintain a list of their various databases and other electronic resources. How do you define what comprises such a list?
