Studies on the effect of different inoculum levels of either M. incognita or H. dihystera infecting banana cv. Williams on their development and reproduction revealed that the nematode final population densities were positively correlated with the initial inoculation levels used. Namely, as the initial populations increased, the final populations of both nematode species increased. Plant growth generally showed a negative correlation with the increase in incoulum levels.
