摘要

The goal of this research is to explore and comparetwo fuzzy algorithms that extract modular IF-THEN rules –Fuzzy PRISM and Fuzzy AQR learning strategy. The articledescribes the historical need for algorithms obtained in adifferent induction process – it points out the weak spots of ID3algorithm and the necessity for improvements. PRISM algorithmis proposed as an improvement to ID3 algorithm changing itsprincipal induction strategy. Both algorithms examined in thisarticle are modifications of PRISM algorithm. This paperprovides step-by-step descriptions of both algorithms, acomparison of the results acquired by both algorithms inworking with real data as well as conclusions and directions offuture research.
