摘要

The derivatives of isoindolines show different biological activity in vitro and in vivo and it is hopefulthat some of the compounds of this group will develop into new efficient drugs for differenttypes of diseases in the future. They are present in many natural and synthetic, biologically activecompounds, which have been reported to possess psycho-stimulant, analgesic, anti-inflammatory,antipyretic, antihypertensive, antifungal, and antitumor properties. Metal complexes of isondolinederivatives act as inhibitors of protein kinase and catalase. Among different biological activity,isoindoline derivatives also show activity against tumor cells of leukemia and are active on colon,epidermal and ovarian cancer. They also inhibit a number of enzymes responsible for cancercell reproduction, such as histone deacetylase, tyrosine kinase receptor, and vascular endothelialgrowth factor receptor (VEGF-R2).
