Crisis - political anq economic - uncertainty, instability, unemployment, and demand for change, more rapid and drastic than ever before known. These are the elements of contemporary life in many countries; distressing for a great many, even more acutely for young people. Regardless of educational achievement some find hope and aspiration spiraling down to gloomy hopelessness and even gloomier speculation. Immense changes are thrust upon us, but the essential issue is how they will be managed.
