摘要

The main aim of this research is to present the results of construction process of an interior permanent- magnet synchronous motor. The optimum rotor topology is examined with time-stepping finite element method Finally, the designed motor is manufactured and several tests, such as back-EMF, at generating mode, are carried out, and the results of the experimental tests, analytical and finite element method are compared. The shape design optimization process of the rotor is also accomplished based on the variations of the shape of outer surface of the rotor.
