摘要

A chemical heat pump for heating or cooling applications is based on a reversible solid-gas sorption reaction between manganese chloride and ammonia. In order to enhance the machine power, thermal and mass transfer of the solid was improved by incorporation of about 25 /100 of carbon (or graphite) fibres into the salt. Owing to the high porosity and permeability of the mixture and to the high thermal conductivity of the carbon fibres, the energetic efficiency reaches about 100/100 and the system power becomes large. The recoverable energy is 1730 kJ/kg of salt for heating and 500 kJ/kg of salt for cooling taking into account the different performance coefficients.
