摘要

This study investigates the use of a mandatory MSS HR portal by managers in an MNC, based on self-report data (N =499) on attitudes and behaviour and archival data on actual usage. Data on usage was extracted four months following the implementation of the MSS HR portal. Results indicate that managers are more likely to use a self-service HR portal where they perceive it to be useful, where they have positive attitudes towards using it, and where there are positive subjective norms supporting its use. Individualism-collectivism and power distance had a direct influence on subjective norms. The implications of the study for research and practice are discussed.
