On September 5, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) announced that it has issued guidance clarifying affirmative action program (AAP) development for academic institutions and other contractors with campus-like settings. The guidance is also intended to advance the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The OFCCP also issued a policy directive limiting compliance reviews of academic institutions to non-student employees.
