Food and beverage company Nestle is toasting the success of its warehouse staff after 28 of them completed vocational-training courses. The learners at the York warehouse, UK, took the opportunity to brush up on their English and mathematics skills, while also studying the latest policies and procedures in warehousing and health and safety. Workers volunteered to study the National Vocational Qualification Level 2 course with training-provider Intraining after a new member of staff started working at the company while in the middle of a training course. Eight months later, all the employees passed their courses with flying colors. Some enjoyed it so much that they are in enrolling for a second course.
