Following a brainstorming event for ten senior executives, from marketing to product and brand managers, Corgi toys came up with 43 new concepts and ideas, on several of which the company has already begun development. The event was held at Whittlebury Hall, near Towcester in Northamptonshire. "In the past, we had used our head office to host similar events, but we thought that the uninterrupted focus and the 'getaway' feeling of an hotel would help to encourage creativity and ideas," said Jo Goodall, interim general manager. "We needed space and time as a team to debate a wide product range."
