UK radar house Blighter Surveillance Systems has been awarded a follow-on contract to supply South Korea with more B400 ground-surveillance radar systems for the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ), the company said on 9 October. The long-range systems will be deployed alongside existing Blighter radars along the 4 km-wide, 250-km long DMZ. According to the manufacturer, the radars provide persistent surveillance of "any human, vehicle or low-flying aircraft incursions".
