In his final year as chief executive of the European Defence Agency (EDA), Jorge Domecq's top priority is supporting European Union member states to embed new defence initiatives into their national frameworks, he told Jane's. He explained that these initiatives include the Co-ordinated Annual Review on Defence and the Permanent Structured Co-operation (PESCO), which feature heavy involvement from the EDA. He added that the process of implementing these initiatives would be co-ordinated with NATO where necessary.
