The Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) has outlined a commitment to ensure that all future procurements are accompanied by offset-like requirements to ensure foreign contractors engage with RTAF technical teams and the country's aerospace and defence industries. In the RTAF's new White Paper it states that its "purchase and development" (P&D) concept will be applied to all future acquisitions of equipment in order to support national "sustainable development".
