BAE Systems Maritime has secured a GBP22 million (USD34.5 million) contract to provide maintenance and support for the UK Royal Navy's (RN's) River-class offshore patrol vessels (OPVs) for an additional five years. Under the terms of the contract for availability (CfA) agreement awarded by the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD), BAE Systems will continue to deliver 320 operationally available days per ship through to 2018.
