It's hard to believe, but the holidays are fast approaching, and with them come gear gifts aplenty. This month, our readers talk about gift ideas for Mac users, discuss Touch ID, and reflect on OS X Mavericks. The typical person who'd attempt to steal an iPhone is most likely not savvy enough to do what the Germans claim to have done. The biggest problem would be getting the owner's clean fingerprint to use. Second, even if the clear fingerprint was retrieved, good luck guessing the owner's iCIoud password to disable Find My iPhone to get past the Activation Lock.
