The Stylus TX 101 is an all-in-one device which looks attractive in its glossy body. The form factor and placement of keys is good; there are dedicated buttons for different types of copies: B/W text, color text and 4" × 6" color photo. The best average print speed we could manage with black & white text documents in draft mode was 16 ppm. However, the print quality takes a severe hit and is at par with bygone era dot matrix printers. As far as copying is concerned, the device took more than a minute for a color page. The same document in B/W took approx 40 seconds. When instructed for a standard 4" × 6" border less print, it took 5 minutes and not without abnormalities. The color reproduction was not very accurate when compared to the original image.
