With the ongoing economic boom in U.S., the U.S. packaging industry is also prospering. This favorable packaging business is supported by the deliberate measures composed of estab- lishment of definite policies and development and implementation of action programs to meet the consumer needs, including development of innovative packaging containers and techniques, pro- duction for diversified product types, improvement of productivity for cost reduction, full-scale introduction of higher speed computer technology for quality assurance and improvement and la- bor saving, building of web sites for the entire industry, cooperative efforts of the entire packag- ing industry for e-commerce individual packaging/logistics, and investment for partnership with/ assistance of universities and involved institutions and organizations.
