Norway's Hurtigruten has agreed to sell Norwegian shipyard Kleven Verft to Croatia's DIV Group, owner of Brodosplit. The companies expect to finalise the deal in the next few weeks. "We are very pleased to have signed this agreement which opens up the opportunity for cooperation between two long and successful shipbuilding traditions. Kleven is recognized throughout the world as a Norwegian shipyard with first-class references and design knowledge, especially when it comes to equipment for complex ships. I am most pleased that Brodosplit, which we managed to place extremely well in the segment for the construction of medium-sized and expeditionary ships, has found a business partner with whom they will be able to achieve top results," said Tomislav Debeljak, owner and CEO of DIV Group.
