Thirty-year seaplane pilot and owner Dave Latham is the newest addition to SPA's nationwide network of Field Directors. Dave says that his lifelong love affair with flying began as a youngster when he accompanied his parents on flights to remote ponds and lakes in the western mountains of Maine. From his first trip he vowed that he would someday pilot a floatplane to the lake near his home in Weld. "While all my family smiled and thought that was sweet," he says, "I was determined."
