摘要

The unusually wet weather over the past year or so has some equally unusual implications for pest managers involved in rodent management. Liphatech's marketing and development manager ANZ, Romain Broch, said the wet season means it may not only be rodents which end up eating rodent baits placed in stations. "The wet conditions have increased the numbers of snails, slugs and other insects seeking refuge and food sources," Romain said. "By their very nature rodent stations provide the perfect harbourage for these nuisance pests while making available the perfect food source in the form of unprotected rodent baits," he said.
