Research at food product manufacturing firms show that implementation of QAS has resulted in advantages and disadvantages where as studies were not conducted at the supply chain level. This study proposes to bridge this gap by developing a method to analyze the impact of QAS in the performance of supply chain and in particular Dutch fresh tomato supply chain. This chain consists of four stages:1. Breeder,2. Tomato growers,3. Wholesalers, and4. Retailers.
