That neuroleptics including risperidone cause an increase in serum prolactin level is well established in different studies [1,2]. There are limited studies, however, linking atypical antipsychotics to pituitary adenoma [3,4]. In this regard, we wish to report four cases of development of pituitary adenoma during treatment with risperidone, and decrease in tumour growth in one patient following change of antipsychotic.
