Not only the state-run think tanks, the Korea Institute for Industrial Economics and Trade (KIET) and the Korea Development Institute (KDI), but also such leading private think tanks of the country as Samsung Economic Research Institute (SERI) and LG Economic Research Institute (LGERI) recently forecast that South Korea's annual economic growth rate will stay at the low end of 3% level this year.
