Members (N=132) from five different groups in organizations (chief executive officers, quality managers, management team, department heads, rank and file) filled out questionnaires. As predicted, positive attitudes toward cross-functional quality project groups covary with the perception of positive outcomes. There were only minor between-group differences in the perception of outcomes. The pattern of results may be explained in part by procedural justice theory.
