Spectra of TCNQ molecule in inverse micelle

The properties of the TCNQ (7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethane) molecule, especially the properties of its charge transfer complex and ion-pair compound with other molecules for electro-optical switching and optical recording, have attracted much attention since it was first synthesized in 1962. When we prepared combined functional materials using the TCNQ molecules and nanometer-sized particles in inverse micelle, we found that the interactions between the TCNQ molecule and the inverse micelle systemexhibit a few new phenomena if the concentration ratios of TCNQ molecules of nanometer-sized particles are higher than 1/50. This note, therefore, further studies this interaction in order to supply evidence for studying and developing the combined system of TCNQ molecule.
