Reaction of N-{3-cyano-6-[4(5-oxo-2-phenylhydrazono-4,5-dihydroimidazol-1-yl)phenyl]-4 -phenylpyridin-2-yl}formimidic ethyl ester (3) and 3-[4-(3-amino-4-imino-5-phenyl-3,4-dihydropyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidin-7-yl)phen yl]-2-phenyl-5-phenylhydrazono-3,5-dihydroimidazol-4-one (4) with different reagents has been investigated and discussed. Some of the obtained compounds were tested for their antimicrobial activity. [References: 19]
