Bobcat Co. has released the first of its loaders to be equipped with its own Tier 4 final turbocharged diesel engines. The seven medium-sized loaders that are part of the 500 frame size range are the manufacturer's most popular models. Depending on machine, the company said the new engines will provide between 3.2 to 12.4% more torque than previous models, and it does so over a wide 600 rpm band, making it possible for operators to better reach maximum productivity with their machines.
