摘要

Mycosis fungoides (MF) is the most common form of cutaneous T cell lymphomas (CTCL). Increased levels of a few biomarker candidates for CTCL including neopterin, beta2-microglobulin, or soluble IL-2 receptor can be found in many other malignant diseases and are not specific to CTCL [ 1 ]. Therefore, it is of great significance to identify biomarkers that are specific to CTCL We have previously used surface enhanced laser desorption/ionization-time of flight-mass spectrometry (SELDI-TOF-MS) to detect 24 differentially expressed proteins in skin tissues between MF patients and normal controls [2]. However, SELDI-TOF-MS technology does not allow identifying proteins, for this reason we chose to use two-dimensional gel electrophoresis (2-DE) approach.
