Developments in the European crushing, screening, sizing materials handling and related technologies have been coming thick and fast, while world-wide technical advances and applications stories are also making the news. Technologically, the crushing and screening sector is seeing a wide spread of developments for an even larger array of extraction duties, including both hard and soft rock mining as well as various quarrying operations. Obviously, the latest crushing and screening equipment is aimed mainly at hard rock or quarrying sectors but there are some notable developments in equipment for coal operations too, including compact designs for underground use. At the same time, developments are also being made in the equipment that carry materials to and from crushing and screening stations, as well as in add-on devices for sorting out waste from product.
