摘要

Two articles in this issue of the Journal address a critical theme currently facing the nation's child mental health services system, namely, how to marshal, organize, and deliver essential mental health services to meet children's mental health needs.1'2 One article describes mental health service types and availability across a nationally representative sample of schools and explores how these services are used by youth within these schools as a function of service characteristics and youths' psychiatric disorder status. In contrast, the other article, a randomized controlled trial, tests whether an intensive 18-month intervention, principally focused on improving the culture and climate of child mental health organizations, also yields improvements in youth outcomes.
