摘要

Malocclusion is a common dental problem in dogs. A severe malocclusion may compromise oral function contributing to periodontal disease and oral pain.1 This case report describes a mature dog with a class II malocclusion possessing a unilateral linguoverted mandibular canine tooth causing significant palatal trauma.~2 Several treatment methods have been described to correct this pathology, including crown reduction and root canal therapy.~3 Root canal therapy of the right mandibular canine tooth andexodontia of all mandibular incisor teeth were done to alleviate oral discomfort and trauma. The right maxillary canine tooth was surgically extracted due to significant palatal trauma from the right mandibular canine tooth.
