摘要

A new class of pH-sensitive and photo-crosslinked polymersomes based on 2-hydroxy-4-(methacryloyloxy) benzophenone(BMA) as an effective photo crosslinker requiring short UV irradiation times was presented. The cross-linked polymersomes based on CP3, CP5, and CP10 reveal the desired stability over the whole pH range. Polymersomes based on CP10 show the fastest cross-linking, and in this case, five minutes of UV irradiation were enough to keep the vesicular shape of the polymersomes upon their acidification. The strong influence of the crosslinking time on the stability and swelling power of the crosslinked polymersomes is found. Under storage conditions of pH 7.4 at 4°C, Dox showed good retention behavior within polymersomes cross-linked for 20 min. At the physiological temperature, Dox started to release from the polymersomes with different profiles depending on the cross-linking time and the pH of the release medium.
