Norway’s Hoegh has been awarded a contract tobuild the Belawan Floating Storage andRegasification Unit (FSRU) in North Sumatra forIndonesia’s state-owned gas transmission playerPerusahaan Gas Negara.Indonesia’s Deputy Energy & Mineral ResourcesMinister Widjajono Partowidagdo told reportersthat Hoegh had won the tender. The BelawanFSRU will have a processing capacity of around2m tonnes of LNG per year and is expected tostart operation in 2013.
