Fluor has landed a contract from WoodsidePetroleum to provide Engineering, Procurementand Construction Management (EPCM) servicesfor its gas assets in Australia.US-based Fluor will perform sustaining capitalprojects for Woodside’s Production ProjectsGroup, the EPCM scope of services includes allactivities that may be undertaken throughout thelife cycle of a project.The initial term of the contract is for three years,with the option of three one-year extensions avail-able. Fluor did not reveal the value of the contract.Fluor’s Global Services Group president KirkGrimes said the company was looking forward todelivering engineering and support services toAustralia’s rapidly growing liquefied natural gasindustry.
