Mansalore— Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemical Ltd. (MRPL) said it has completed commissioning of the crude and vacuum distillation unit at its Mangalore, India, refinery and the "phase III refinery expansion-cum-upgradation project" is now on stream (PCN, 14 June 2010, p 2). The nameplate capacity of the refinery has been increased to 15-million t/y from 11.82-million t/y.
