London— Azerbaijan Methanol Co. LLC (Azmeco) is planning a $1-billion bond issue in London to support the continued growth of the business and repay an outstanding loan from the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA). Securities will be offered to investors in a private placement but, in the future, may be publicly traded at the London Stock Exchange, noted Highgrove Securities LLP, Az-meco's financial adviser.
