Brussels— The European Commission has completed its review and approved the acquisition by Ineos of Sasol Solvents Germany GmbH (SSG), a subsidiary of Sasol Ltd. (PCN, 31 Mar 2014, p 4). The acquisition, for which financial terms have not been disclosed, includes SSG's production facilities for ethanol and isopropyl alcohol, as well as catalysts for both processes, in Heme, Germany, and isopropyl and secondary butyl alcohol production units in Moers, Germany.
