I read with interest Beryl Richardson's letter (PJ, 18 April 2009, p452) in response to my article on workplace stress for locum pharmacists (PJ, 4 April 2009, p378).She invited me to visit the pharmacy where she works and, from her description, it sounds as if that would be a great pleasure. Mrs Richardson does, however, speak of the fact that technicians and support staff work long hours and become stressed and tired, too.Whatever role we play in the pharmacy, occasional stress may be acceptable but stress due to poor working conditions day in and day out is never in any way to be tolerated by any member of the pharmacy team.
