Australia-listed Sino Gas and Energy has inked a deal with Chinese state firm China United Coal Bed Methane (CUCBM) to mar- ket CBM from its Linxing production shar- ing contract in the Ordos Basin in Shanxi province (IOD Apr.14,p7). The duo have agreed to form a gas marketing team to han- dle pilot gas sales from the block, where Sino Gas recently completed successful flow tests. Sino Gas said it believes there are established markets in the province for compressed nat- ural gas that would support pilot sales.
