Several factors are converging to create the conditions for a long-lasting bull market in commodities, including crude oil, according to Goldman Sachs’ global head of commodities research, Jeffrey Currie. The investment bank expects oil prices and demand to be buoyed by underinvestment in supply, a ramp-up in government spending and a weaker US dollar.
