OBJECTIVES: The aim of this study is to describe the temporal pattern of left atrial (LA) and left ventricular (LV) reverse remodelling and to evaluate the impact of residual LV hypertrophy on the prognosis of patients with severe aortic stenosis and asymmetric septal hypertrophy undergoing aortic valve replacement (AVR).
