Both in the life science as well as in clinical diagnostics, the number of samples to be analysed is increasing constantly. For a personalised therapy, not only the correct dosage of the respective drugs is necessary, but also a concerted preliminary assessment of the individual blood samples. The blood molecules must be treated as gently as possible in order not to destroy the cell structures during pipetting. Ritter Medical offers new wide bore robotic tips for this application. These pipette tips have been developed with a 50% wider opening through which particularly viscous samples such as blood plasma can be pipetted gently. The wide opening of the tip reduces the flow resistance of viscous samples and thus protects sensitive cells. This robotic tip is in particular most suitable for cell cultures, blood samples, macromolecules or oils.
